i was sending out close to 90k a day but god damn att has now cut my speed that i send messages out at from 30 to 40 sends per minute on a bad day to maybe 10 a minute now if i am lucky. They say all you can text, but they have ways of curbnig your output since you arent paying the$2k a month fee for sending 250k names. I sent out over 180k for 360 this month so far, .002 a message

Oh and i have an app that works in all contries for sending...all you need is the simm card to push the message out.

Now someone insert a price: 0.002$ per message. So, after 5 messages, 1 cent.

Simm card in the name of the company that is getting the ads?
Or a not known "simm card" ?

If possible, I want to see this running. Or Webcam or you can use a software that can record the screen like Camtasia or something like that.

nah dude ...simm cards are used to put the messages out there into space. If you want to see a preview of it in the works...all i do is take my desk type app and launch it, upload the data to the system and then it just goes out.

Is there any good book to read about SMS and what protocols I need to adjust to run in a web server? Maybe like DEBIAN? oR CentOS?

I have been extremely interested in SMS marketing for a while but I can not get any clear info on a method that is reliable and cost effective.

.002 cents per sms is cheap. The guy who said 5 is a penny.. I think you are wrong. a penny is .01 so .002 cents is much less.

I already have an idea on how to fit this ino my business model flawlessly but these are a couple of things that would make it kick ass.

1) is it possible to get a list of active cell phone numbers in a particular area code from all carries? So say on the North American Dialing Plan area code 508 can I get a list of every active celly in that area code?

2) Can you spoof where the sms is coming from on the Simm care method? Like if I am sending from xxx-xxx-xxxx can I have it show as xxx-sss-xyxy on the person's celly?

If he wanted to write 0.002$ or 0.002 CENTS ( = 2/1000 cent), so, you are right, these are different things.

All I know is that people should be sending more than 1800 texts per hour.

smtp is slow and you cant get nearly as many messages out. i have done both and simm cards is the way to go.
