They are bull shit, that's my experience anyway. They want you to "rate" searches and categorize and all that.

They have a two part test, part I is pretty easy part II is no joke. You have to read their manual and get it right. Multiple answers make sense so it's really hard to figure out which is the correct answer.

Then they tell you, you did not do a good job. It may work for someone here but it's not easy and just to see if it works for you or not requires at least a 25 hour commitment.

Some people do have a hard time with the tests. I had no problems at all. I got the job (well, hubby applied for it but I do all the work). Min. is 10 hrs per week not 25 hrs.

Not many people likes working as a rater but hey it pays bills. I am only putting the info here in case someone wants to have a bit of cash while trying to get their IM business off the ground.

It took my husband's application 9 months to be approved. He was introduced to Lionbridge by a friend who's been working LB for about 1.5 yrs.

Geez this takes me back. Years ago there was a post on DP about this. Didn't you have to rate search results from google about how spammy sites were etc? Almost like Human rating or something?

Also, From memory (Me being in NZ), depending on your country you would also get various searches related to only your country. For example me being from NZ, I could get searches related to Maori (Original people of NZ) etc.

I never tried it, but these guys have been going for years.

Not all sites are spammy. I came across about some blogs that had excellent set ups, keywords, etc. Bookmarked them and went back to set up similar wordpress blogs.

Just my two cents, I have worked with both Lionbridge and Leapforce. Lionbridge was the better outift. I actually quit doing Lionbridge because I stumbled upon IM.

That is a tough 10 hrs to put in. It's mind numbing work, but it does pay well. The biggest problem is that you have to be accurate, so trying to do 2 hrs. after working a full time job was tough, because it's so boring and the rating is tedious.

The good parts is some of the tasks would be just video rating so that would be sweet.

They all pay on time, and are extremely legit. However, if you work just as hard, you can probably get a CPA offer to convert 10 times in one day or sell 1 clickbank product and it would be equivalent to working 5 hours.

Of course the choice is yours. If anyone is interested, ask me any questions and I can answer them for you.

I meant to say you have to commit 25 hours before you start getting paid (between application, reading their manual, taking the test etc). Maybe a bit less. I didn't commit any time at all and I apparently failed.

When I realized how boring it was, I did not really care anyway. I was also doing it so my wife could so the work.

As others have mentioned, the effort required could be channeled into something more rewarding. Setting up adsense site in that time might be rewarding for years to come.

Not dissing the sites at all, if you need the income you should do it.

I'm still not clear on the pay. Is it per search, hourly, other? Millygirl: How many hours of actual work (forget the test/setup, etc.) did it take to earn the $1,000 you have?

Hi Capp. I recently became permanently disabled at the ripe old age of 35 and am trying my absolute damnedest to stay off of entitlements (no offense to anyone on them). I just stumbled across this thread in my research. Could you please tell me what IM and CPA are? I could probably find out what "clickbank" is via Google, but some elaboration on that would be greatly appreciated as well.

I have yet to explore this subsection of the forum, so many of my questions may be answered via just that, but any other info anyone could give me would be fan damn tastic.

This is my experience also. I did this for 2 years, when the minimum was 20 hrs a week, and while the money was fair and it always came on time, the work is worse than counting and labeling grains of sand.

I worked for Lionbridge, it is a legitimate outfit, but the work is truly mind numbing.
