Do i need paid proxys for Scrapebox?

If i plan on only doing 500-1000 links/day, would you recommend paying for a proxy or do you only need one for more volume?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Paid proxies have a bettr success rate for various reasons.Many public proxies are banned already by alot of blogs.It's not necessary but it will increase your success rate.

Proxies are always a good idea a) so you don't get banned from your VPS provider or in trouble with your ISP and b) to keep you off akismet or other anti spam services. Better safe than sorry. Free proxies are slow and unstable but they are a good free alternative to paid proxies. I'm not a fan of paid proxies myself and have 1000+ working free proxies in my list every hour.

However even if you're spreading out your link spamming over multiple proxy IPs, you can still get in trouble with akismet etc for spamming the same domains over and over in a short period of time. It all depends on your rate of spamming and how many domains you are promoting at the same time.

great, thanks! I just got SB so I guess my main question was, do I NEED a paid proxy to use it? (Sounds like the answer is no).
