It still works but success only comes with using a good and regular updated spider database.
The best out there is the one from Fantomaster.

It all depends on how you do it. Your generated text has to be pretty good and your cloaked pages have to look realistic. Google instant preview has also changed what you can do with doorways - the overall appearance of the page has to be aesthetically pleasing.

Straight javascript redirects don't work so well any more since googlebot appears to be executing javacript. Your bounce rate will appear to be totally shit.

Most successful cloakers these days go for a 'mosaic cloaking' approach where you're not just serving one page for surfers and a completely different page for bots - you use a combo of server side and javascript to deliver several different versions of the page to different user agents. Makes it much harder to bust you or to say definitively that you're cloaking.

Fantomaster's bot base is definitely the only ip database you should consider using, it's the best by far.

I personally wouldn't pay $200 for that particular script.

I got indexed all pages by pinging, I read some articles according to them doorway pages are blocked by GOOGLE

Usually you upload them just as a normal website on the server. The "special" parts take care of the redirection for visitors.

I tried to product for a month now and I can tell you it is absolute rubbish.

The content it generates is medium grade. It lasted one week before I got slaped. Didn't make a single sale in that week.

My advice is to create a quality webiste with proper content and put some time in SEO.

There is no such thing as easy money. I hope this makes your choice a bit easier.
