Banned from AdWords

Anyone else been banned? Apparently I ran a affiliate campaign (although it is a campaign thats already featured on AdWords anyways...)

It follows their guides pretty closely and complies with all their rules. But it had a "low reputation feedback". So it was in AdWords discretion to ban my account for it. Despite having compliant policies.

So I got banned and the guy wouldn't reverse it.

Happen to anyone else?

She keeps saying change the content of the landing page and we will reconsider, I have told her I do not own that page/domain never have never will. She writes back when you own the page again change the content and we will re consider.
I thought g00gle employed clever people!!!, I guess only in certain jobs, the ban hammer people must be on minimum wage somewhere.
ps I linked to that page for 1 week in 2009!!!

Yeah there are many informations on the forum about this. I got mine canceled once - set up a new 1 in some weeks with new address and account number. Check on the forum for Keywords like "Adwords Ban" and you will find some good informations. In my case it worked and I know also other people where it worked..

The treatment depends on how much you've spent with them.

At one time I was spending 20 G's a month on adwords.

So one day I decided to put in a CB product and Big G didn't like it one bit. Said it was a "get rich quick scheme" which was against their policy.

As we all know by now that Big G shoots first and asks questions later. Luckily they realized that the amount people like me spent over the years probably helped them become a billion dollar company so they asked 'nicely' that if I don't take back my ad they are going to ban me to kingdom come.

What I don't understand is: why can't Big G simply reject the ads? Why is it always be an instant ban email or a threat notice from them? If you walked into your local newspaper office and wanted to buy an ad - look you are trying to PAY them, not trying to rob them - would the booking agent smile and tell you they won't take your ad because they don't approve the content or would they tell you that you are never to set foot in their building again or they will sic the dogs on you? That's how I felt. Go figure....

I didn't give them my address, credit card, I was using their free 75$ credit thing. Unless they can link my AdSense account, they don't have my info.

Shouldn't I be able to create another one?

ef giigle. It's time to ban them! Let's give them a taste of just how horrible it is to have your business fail at the whim of another. Schrute you should be able to get another account but why the hell would you want to?

I am in the same boat, I got banned for bidding on a certain keyword.

I once had an account closed and I managed to create a new one the next day, with the same address information.

No problem with the approval - so give it a try...

That's pretty remarkable, did you use an adwords voucher?

Hello Mate,

Off all the people here, your problem seems to be easy to be solved.

First off is it showing on the top of your adwords panel that your account has been suspended due to violation of terms or is the keyword quality score -1 for all of the keywords?

If the latter is true - you just need to delete the direct linking campaign and create a new one. Send traffic to a random safe site with a minumum daily budget of $2 at the least continue doing this for a week and then you will be good to go with other campaigns!

Nope it says at the top that that my account has been suspended in a red banner. I e-mailed support about it and the guy said there's nothing he can do that I have a account-ban.

Hmmm, i must have gotten banned from adwords over 15 times seriously, i keep getting back in but i have learnt what and what not to advertise with them, and my latest account has been up and running for about two months and getting good traffic. They even contacted me on ways to optimse my campaign lol.
For getting back in, i realised google saves something on users computer for about a month or so when you get banned not cookies,ip or flash...and every account i made in that period didnt show but when i used my laptop, my account went to review and was running a few days later whereas using the computer that got banned didnt show ads and when the new account got banned a few weeks later, i tried the other computer (about a month later) and ads went to review and started showing ads a few days later....i did that about 5 times and worked everytime...i used vcc,different address,reboot router,different domains but same niche.

p.s - Just make sure you dont do the same things you got banned for because your account wont last two weeks.

Google needs to go down in flames. They keep dropping the permanent ban hammer on me and my campaigns follow the ToS. New ID, IP, CC, LP, Content... Try again!

You are right. Google does not like direct linking to sales pages as well as affiliate links being displayed.

However if you do a subtle pre-sell page, you should be okay.
