Exact searches 800/month, Top 10 fairly easy.

So I have been building links through Article Marketing for 4 weeks now and with SB blasts using own harvested blogs for a week and my website is not moving much. The keyword should be "relatively easy" to rank for in top 10 but I can't seem to get it anywhere above rank 250... :(

It is important to notice that I am using a domain with an url frame, is this right?

Any other advice?

Thanks!

How old is it, how many articles do you have, are you utilizing title tags, meta tags? It could be tons of things man we need more details. Is the keyword your trying to rank for in the domain url?

So you have nothing but iframe on the page your trying to promote ?

You have probably made a mistake with On-site SEO.

If you have wordpress make sure you install: All in One SEO pack , Google XML sitemaps

If you have HTML based site then put the keywords into the H1 , 2 , 3, 4 .

Good luck

I agree with ahiddenman .

You might want to look into your onsite SEO and work on that part!

I think you should pay attention to Onpage SEO and Offpage SEO. Offpage SEO should be done in advance to promote your site. You can do it by yourself or hire a SEO company do it for you. GOOD LUCK!

To all: It's keyword+blog.info domain. WP blog, with wprobot, all-in-one seo and some other plugins. So I think onpage seo is properly done. Furthermore I wrote 2 articles on it of about 300-350 words. The domain is 2,5 months old now.

The domain simply redirects to an url on my host.

How have you done the redirect ? Does it redirect automatically when user comes to site ? If you PM the url i can take a look.

could the info domain be a brake for the ranking too?

a lot of people say it''s sometimes difficult to rank well with info domains.

do you have experience with info domains?

i would go on writing high quality articles, building backlinks an wait....imo 4 weeks is not a long time for rating the ranking success

Ahh , I see its an Autoblog. After the Google Algorithm update there have been alot of rank droppings with autoblogs.

This is probably your problem as they will favour a whitehat site more than an autoblog. And also a .info domain is harder to rank than a .net or .com

what is the competition for that keyword
is it a product.. ?
how many backlinks top 3 sites have
have you build profile backlinks?
is ur domain penalized?

go and build anchor text backlinks from top 10 web2 sites with somewhat decent article. of 300 words

dont interlink these web2 properties just build your backlink and dont ping them
let google crawl on its own..
\only get them bookmarked from different account... to top bookmarking sites
and drop that link in comments on popular digg
