Hi, I've found over 250,000 forums to register on the last couple of days, the thing is though that alot of them don't allow guests to view forum profiles.

How can I harvest only those forums that allow public viewing of profiles? Alot of forums will show the profile url even though you can't view the page, and some forums also allow you to see their members page without being able to view the actual profile of the users. So adding these urls into the sieve filter/additive words won't work to find open profiles.

Hope anyone can help.

Scrape box link checker, check your successful profiles.

I want to harvest forums with open profiles, not check every made profile to see if it's public. I'll check it out though.

Just read some topics about proper made footprints and then harvest, focus only on footprints which lead you directly to forum profiles. But personally, i rather will use RaveRandi method, better results.

I have this already in my footprints, and I read topics all the time :). It will harvest profile links, but when you visit those links you will get a message telling you to register to see the profile.

The profile link will be visible in the adress bar though.

I'll keep on searching and also hope for more replies.

And RaveRandi's way could be an alternative, be then you will have to create profiles on all the forums (public & private) and after that run the whole list through sb link checker. And then filter out those that do not have your link on them. And after that create a list with all the public forums for future posting. Quite some work.

Yes, but footprints arent based only on inurl: query, if you include some text visible only on profile page (fully visible) you'll scrape good ones then. But still, you have to remember that will not quarantee all your profiles will equal backlinks as it's individual set on every board. Thats why i recommend you to harvest - post then check and save positive results for future use. Its some job, ofcourse, but after that u can reuse same lists with greater success rate. I do that all the time - all "links found" profiles ends up on my "main list".
Hope that helps.

Thank you for nice advice

Use my footprint to find SMF forums. Their profiles are all public.
inurl:"action=profile;u="

I'm already using that for SMF, plus some extras. And indeed, most SMF forums if not all seem to be public. Thanks though.

Code:
"Find all threads started by" "Total Posts:" "Last Activity:"

for xrumer:
Edit before sending the file xuser.ini
CheckProfiles=1 for section [AdvOptions]
Then in the report "Profiles" will get links available for guests

It's really not that hard to just take the list of forums where you can get a profile page, create a profile with a link in them, and then just scrapebox link check as soon as it's done. Then you have all your publicly viewable profiles that will accept a link.

Why check after posting, if possible at the time of posting check.
A parsing speedy5044 prompted correctly.
