Question on US domain

Hi,
I have already bought two US domain. If I search from Big G (UK) then UK websites are coming first. And if search in BIG G (AU), then AU domains are coming first (for same keyword).

My website is highly targeted for only USA visitors. And I got a (US) domian name with my exact primary keyword. Some one already took the C()M domain name . But they didn't host a site on it (its parked now).

So, can I use this (US) domain or i should try C()M domain for another keyword? I need visitors only from USA.

Personally i don't stay beyond .com, .net or .org, as I myself would rarely type another suffix in, so I can't imagine other people jump at the chance, part of the reasons search engines favour them so heavily.
