What are you doing to promote it? You'll need to start a link building campaign. Forum profile links and article marketing are good starts. Also, having both adsense and an insurance quote form may be hurting your earnings potential. You should have one objective of each page, and test to see which one works better.
First thing you need to decide, whether you want your insurance to monetize by adsense or quotes form, then accordingly create desing - clean and business like for quote forms and for adsense - install theme with highest CTR rate. Both adsense and form wont work as good as it could do separately.

u should better start of with some less crowded niche.
Well, an insurance niche is EXTREMELY large. You have to compete with some extremely large companies and pro black hatters.
Basically, until you are making money with some other sites and learn all the secrets of the web, you won't make any money. A top spot in insurance can sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
If I were you, I would write about 3 articles a day, depending on the time you have available, and leave it at that. At the same time as that you should work on a few other websites, writing articles, link building, ext...
After a few months you go BACK to your insurance site and manual link build. (Takes a lot more time, but backlinks in a related niche and manually done will give you better results)
Pick a much less populated niche and you will make a lot more money.
Just another little tip: every few days you should add a few more tags to all your websites, will help you rank.

Ya. Considering you are a newbie, insurance is not right niche you. Its highly competitive. Try something less competitive micro niches to start with...
When you say write articles do u mean post them on article site or just post them on my site?

For wordpress blogs on insurance, use typo tags for each post. This would help you to get free targeted traffic from the search engines.

You can later decide how you want to interlink them (if you want 90% of your sites to link to your most important sites, or if you want to do a more wheel like approach or if you want to use some of them as a basis to do ABC trades).
