So I was browsing my cpanel trying to configure rsync, and I have been so busy working on projects, I haven't checked my webalizer stats in about 4 months. Around that time (4 months ago) I made a phbb forum and installed it on a sub.domain and the project was put on pause, I forgot about it.
Long story short, there was a porn link farm growing in the forum, I'm talking a boat load of links and threads and posts and users and spam, over 32.Gigs of it just nestled on a sub domain.
The forum stats said that the most users online was 200 just some days ago. I was like wow, with no effort. Hymph. I just installed it and forgot about it and not knowingly had a link parasite forum growing on my account, chewing up bandwidth and file space. This party was going on for atleast 4 months. Until today.
I deleted it instantly but after I thought maybe I could've hijack the backlinks. Oh Well, Morale of the Story: Dont ignore your web statistics especially if you have multiple cpanel accounts.
