I'm thinking I should just let this site go, or sell it if it's worth anything more than 10 bucks.

It ranks well; but that's about it. actualonlinejobs.com

I'm new and I suck at this. I can't find help. Everyone is more computer savvy than me.

F.

My goal was to make a dollar a day and this site isn't cuttin' it. Not even close. Maybe I should just buy a site on flippa.

EXPERIENCED guys. Can you help me?

u aint got it.

offer the visitors something they WANT
i would suppose they want an ACTUAL ONLINE JOB?

well your site is just another fucking article poster.
try adding some spazziness and a refferall link to some GPT site or something
make your own GPT site and slop it on the domain, My Voucher Geek is the name of the CMS/Script/w.e

good luck man you just gotta keep trying.
and if you don't keep trying, then u ain't got it for IM.

How much traffic are you getting? I checked your backlinks and they aren't that many. Keep building backlinks and keep posting content.

1.before making a post target a long tail keyword in this niche that has almost 1000 searches by going to google adwords tool. make the keyword density to 5-6%.

2.Build 20 backlinks towards the post with the targeted keyword as anchor.

and you'll be getting a good amount of traffic.

Thanks for the comments. I appreciate them.

Maybe I'm short on the creative side, but when given a clear direction as this, things seem much easier. I'll give this a try.

Do you think the whole niche is crap though? As opposed to something like muscle building or teeth whitening where people have disposable income to spend on what they want?

Man, you are so close. Part of me wants to offer you a few bucks for the site and run with it myself. :p

Take each one of the job sites, create a category for each, and write/find a friggin review of each one already. Want some free content? Parse crunchbase for tons of free data - and if you know PHP parse the JSON feed on the back=end and structure for ORIGINAL CONTENT.

Run some original contrasting shit - find a job on oDesk, eLance, then compare to Craigslist and Fiverr and its clones.

Next, add the RSS news feed from each one. Finally, google for things like "odesk sucks" and get some forum shit involved.

Get out of the box, stomp on it a bit. You really are close. Forget about spinning - this is a rich, deep mine of original content easy to create and generate.

PM me if you give up so I can grab a related info domain and do it mysel=f :D

Never stop trying...as orlandolongwood said you are close just work on it bit more...
I have a news website and make much more than 1$ a day...Invest in your time and seach for the solution on the Big G it is all in there. The only thing u have to do is ask the right question. All the best

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Maybe that's all I need.

Ok. To summarize/clarify...we're really talking about two corrections to the site. 1. site structure/content 2. increased traffic.

So I'll make a tab/link on the right side on the front page to include all the job sites. (additional content idea) I like that.

Run some contrast information. On the jobs tab.

Google for forum info. Where would I put that?

UPDATE: I've made a few changes. I now need to add content to the links along the right. Rss feeds, etc.
