Keep Big G and others out of your browser

Many of you are already probably doing this but I thought I'd post it anyway. Sorry if its common knowledge.

if your managing multiple entities for SEO or BlackHat purposes you really don't want to be logging into different accounts with big G or anyone else using the same browser, cookie sets, bookmarks, etc.

Its way too easy to link you to your different properties and also you may make the mistake of logging into one entity with a proxy for a different entity and exposing your relation to it.

An easy and clean method to avoid cross pollinating your entities with one browser or IP is to setup a simple .bat file to run FF (instead of running it straight) and then use multiple browser instances with Fresh identities and cookies for each identity you manage.

the .bat file should be:

start "" "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p
set MOZ_NO_REMOTE=0

When you run it you can build multiple profiles that are all completely independent of each other in every way.

Use foxyproxy or something similar to setup a different proxy in each profile.

This way your bookmarks, plugins, proxies, cookies and everything are different for every identity that you have attached to site accounts.

I Have whole ip ranges of big G00gle blocked in my WIn7 firewall. They collect info in my opinion about your searches.

Why's everyone getting paranoid with Google collecting or not collecting data? google isn't God u know...and they've got farrr more important things 2 deal with than "tryin 2 catch" those doing black hat seo...It's not like its got 1million staff members or sumtin...

I login 2 my adsense, adwords, youtube etc even while spamming...there are more than 1billion web pages online u know...and over 500million pple use the internet or google like...everyday! We all just build theories and over time accept them as facts....

You have to expand on this blocking bit or maybe I have to think it through. Are you saying you do not use any of G's properties when you browse? Cookies and information are collected when you visit their sites, if you were to have their IP range blocked and they can't get through your firewall how would they return queries to you.

With all due respect, G is god in their world and information I post here is not based on guesswork.

if you do anything online, especially in the creation of G accounts, etc. you most certainly have a profile with them and they most certainly maintain information on you. Its not like they are looking at it everyday, but it can figure in in certain instances in regards to how your sites and activities are treated, especially in special circumstances and ESPECIALLY in the future.

Its not like this is all done by hand, they are a multi-billion dollar company and data parsing is their business. If your saying there are 1 Billion web pages, 500 million people (there are more) realize they track and rank just about all of them.

Here's how to stop Google from Tracking you with Firefox.

• Firefox Add-on: Ghostery - This will block Google tracking you on sites that have Google Analytics and Google Adsense, this also blocks a few thousand other tracking scripts and companies.
• Firefox Add-on: BetteryPrivacy
• Firefox Add-on TrackMeNot - This will randomly submit searches into Google such as "How to cook curry" "Latest News" to stop Google Profiling you.

Most importantly!

When you search in Google and click though a site, you may not be aware but you are not redirected straight to the site, infact you are first redirected through Google's own server were they redirect you to the final site, like a 301 redirect basicly.

To protect yourself again this you will need to get

• Firefox Add-on: Greasemonkey
• Greasemonkey Script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/10448

Greasemonkey I would class as the most important of them all.
