no need to buy one for $250

Ask for traffic stats first. There is content, some backlinks, PR. If it's already getting SE traffic there could be potential to bring in a lot more.

These are all authority sites which wont be outranked. Also, on Google.ca anyways, I am getting Youtube videos first (Videos for swimsuit model) and Google News second (News for swimsuit model). So if you are purchasing it to rank #1 for that term, forget it, there is no traffic there.

I dont think its worth it man! Like kickflip explained earlier, there's too much competition to rank for #1 and it doesnt really get that many searches anyway.

Competition doesnt scare me. Even SI isn't to big to be beaten. I would move it more towards how to become a model type site rather than a fan site or whatever it is at the moment. Modelling agency sites do quite well.

Why would google ever rank a modelling agency site over sports illustrated? That just doesn't make sense. 75% of the people searching for this term are looking for sport illustrated, 15% are looking for non-nude photos to wank too, 5% are running a similar blog or website, and maybe 5% are actually swimsuit models/wannabe swimsuit models.

And that is being generous.

20k backlinks with the keyword "swimsuit model" means anything? o.0 Whoa. Well I have over 200,000 backlinks to my website so I must outrank everyone. Even IF you managed to rank it Top 10 for a few days, Google would change your ranking due to the average time on site/bounce rate compared to Sport Illustrated and Youtube having a much lower bounce rate and much higher time on site.

Number of backlinks don't mean anything when you are dealing with authority websites. You have to have high authority backlinks from related websites in order to even think about out ranking them.
