Basically I'm just trying to get to grips with AMR, having never done it before I thought I'd test it out on my own SEO website..

My question really is, if the rulebook suggests that you shouldn't include HTML in the article, how can I hope to gain a backlink from submitting this article to hundreds of directories?

Also, my domain is relatively new and I've done pretty much zero work on it. Should I limit the amount of directories I submit to through fear of looking irregular?

Hi,

In my own experiences, backlinking via article submission would mainly using resource box.

have a nice day,

100% agree, As a lot of directories don't allow html or links in the body, it is always a good practice to just add 2 links to your resource box or you might run into a lot that fail to submit.

there are several article directories on the list that allows HTML link in the body.

my method is..first, run AMR with link inside the body. definitely those article directories that don't allow HTML in body will fail.

then i will run the AMR again without the HTML in the body, but this time, selecting only those who fail on the first round.

this way, you can maximize the potential of the links inside the body....:-)

this is what i have done and works for me:

-use html links in the resource box only
-in your article body just put in an http:// link
-drip about 50 articles per day (not all will be approved)
