Index vs cache

I just started my first wp site.I searched my url on google and it was cache 2 days ago when I have not completed building my site.Now that my site is done with seo opimized with all-in-one seo and seopresser,will my site be indexed the next time google crawl it?
Sitemap and robot.txt installed.
I just did a few backlinks,bookmarking and rss submission and ping it.
My keyword is rather competitive so will that affect my indexing?

Make a google webmaster account and submit the sitemap to that...normally helps too. The keyword you are after shouldn't affect indexing.

Ive heard people have mix opinions on submitting to google with some saying it takes even longer.I guess I will give it a few days and see how it goes.Its very new anyways lol.Sorry about the double post.mod pls delete the other thread.

If it's a big site, it probably won't be indexed all in one go. Googlebot will keep coming back and fetching a few pages a time and these will be added to the index in chunks. Just keep adding backlinks if you want to be indexed fast, plus make sure you site is easily spiderable with your sitemap and adequate internal linking.

And You don't have to worry about cache. The sooner Google start to be interested in your site the better. The cache will be update in few days

guys i just added the www on the wordpress for the site url and sign up for google webmaster tool.I resubmitted the sitemap and has been a day but now the crawl stat says 0.I already did some backlink and bookmarking on web 2.0.
do we need to put www when adding the site on google webmaster?
I typed in the url on google and click cached and shows an error.is it because google has not crawl or recrawl my site yet?

www or non www is a personal choice it doesn't matter so long as you use the same one for all your back linking. You can select how you want the url's to be displayed by Google www or non www in Webmaster tools.

Webmaster tools is really slow showing how many links are indexed but they will show up exentually.

Also a new site with little or no authority doen't get indexed that frequently anyway just keep adding quality backlinks and the bots will come

Actually being in the index and in the cache are two different things. You can get cached (they know about you and have crawled at least part of your site) and then you are ranked and added to their search results.

I clicked on the link info tab on SEO quake on my website.I found that there are links that I dont want there such as categories and author archives and some admin posts edit links?? I used to have both all in one seo and wordpress seo.i deactivated the wordpress seo.Any tips to getting index faster?Im afraid messing my plugins and settings only causing more problems.

Ok maybe im missing something here.3 of my pages are index by google when i type site:mydomain.com.So it means im indexed?Just that my page rank is N/A cos its that new?

What those people are talking about is the submit URL to google page, which basically suggests your site to their index....and yes I think that can take up to 6 weeks to get looked at. Actually submitting a sitemap to google will help your site get indexed in hours.

How do i find where in google serp for my targeted keyword assuming im indexed?(my page rank is N/A and i have 3 links seen by google)haha im really confused.And i have google analytics as well.Things is there are visits but I dont know if all those are by me.

just ping the site and chill out, it will be reindexed.
