Looking at the thread there have been over 250K views

so I guess a lot as it's a sweet piece of software

SweetFunny made one hell of a good product that filled a need in the IM community as WizGizmo said.

I don't know how much money was made but whatever it was, SweetFunny deserves every penny of it.

I think the bigger question is how much money has SweetFunny (by selling ScrapeBox) made for the IM'ers that bought and use SB. I would suspect that the figure could possibly go into the millions by now and if it hasn't reached that figure yet then it will in the near future.

Cheers to SweetFunny for helping us and not overcharging the "little guy". ScrapeBox could have easily been sold for a couple hundred dollars per license and it would have been well worth the expense even at that price point.

Well by not specifiying an upper limit you arn't technically incorrect...but I'm still glad I didn't go to your school.

At least $100k revenue from SB, but if you factor in time costs for a decrent programmer (doesn't matter is SF is the sole programmer, as a business her time needs costing in) then I'd say it isn't exactly a cash cow.

What is clear is that SB is one of the most awesome things to hit BH/WH/ALL IM and I seriously hope SF made it purely for her own IM exploits. If that is the case then assuming no degredation of her IM success any revenue would be pure gross profit in which case my estimate is $100k (see above)

Of course I could be wrong, she could have 5000 sales, in which case it is a cash cow..her time cost factored in or not.

Spitman, I just wanted to say that ">9000" is sort of an inside joke that I'm guessing some members of BHW will get. It's sort of an Internet meme in some circles.

I couldn't really guess the profit because I do not know the costs, but in terms of revenue I would estimate at least $400, 000 based on taking a 2% conversion rate out of 250, 000 thread views and multiplying by the mid-point price of $80.
