Will my link get fb banned?

Hey guys,

Quick question. Kind of a beginner question too...

If i post comments on walls with my sites link in it, what are are the chances that facebook will ban my link and make it not live anymore when someone 'likes' something on my page?

The chances are directly proportional to the extent you spam the link. Post it 10 or 20 times, you'll probably be safe. Post it 100+ times, you'll probably be banned within 24hrs once they run their bot/sweep system.

Will probably be treated the same, although since it's getting less exposure than a wall post, it might last longer. However, PMs IMHO, would probably have a higher propensity to be reported than a wall post because it's more intrusive. Just my opinion, though.

PMs will be treated as PMs, it doesn't matter much if all the recipients belong to a group or page versus them being completely random.

I have posted 300+ and have been fine.

And at the same time 10+ and banned.

So it really depends..

But normally with 100 or so you will be safe..

He probably means the link, and/or the account. But more than likely the link.
