so i started a blog on blog-spot with my own domain with about 10 posts so far all original content. but after reading a lot on here and what people told me on here I'm thinking of getting paid hosting and using wordpress. I'm thinking of the hatchling package since i only have one domain for $3.60/month. Will i be able to transfer my content or will i have to manually do it. also is hosting using wordpress hard for someone who isn't good with code?

my domain was bought through 1and1 if that matters

you can use wordpress import tools for importing from your blogger content to wordpress. wordpress isn't hard to use, it is the most perfect and free blog platform.

Not only is WP easy to use, but it has plenty of plugins, themes and other extras. Have a look at the blogging section of the forum for more tips on wordpress (WP).

you can easily transfer your content to new hosting with cpanel default backup and restore feature.

Wordpress is easiest to use

and transfer your domain to another registrar. There is lots of horror story about 1and1. Choice is ur :-)

Just use the Wordpres import tool,it will move all your content over to the new Wordpress blog.

Wordpress hosting is a little expensive but if you are going to work hard on the blog will be worth while.

If you decide to host with hostwinds we will transfer everything for free, also we are only $2.50 a month, and hostgator is really closer to $7 a month its only $3.50 if you buy 3 years in advance

I'm only responding to threads where people actually ask for help. I want to help people out is there a problem with that?

You are advertising moron. If sb will report, a ban will come for you.:)

even though you only have 1 domain i would highly recommend getting the 'baby' shared account. that way you can host unlimited sites (more or less)

i'll second the motion about 1 and 1 sucking. i would transfer that domain out to namecheap or something.

then seriously you only have 10 posts, on your blogging blog, just copy and paste them into posts on your new blog once it's up....done!

need help with wordpress use youtube and google, just about every questions has been asked and answered via video some where.
