Getting featured on Fiverr

There's actually a lot of money to be made on Fiverr if done right. I've realized that. Some guy started a gig 4 days ago and has received more than 30 orders. And he's not even featured. I'll not post the link sorry.

I have a gig that offers better service than his gig. And I know I can do damn well better than him. My question is: how the heck is he getting a lot of orders?

I've read several tips on here, and in fact one of my other gigs is doing quite well. Had more than 50 orders so far. But this new gig - it's just not getting orders.

Any thoughts on this? And how does one get featured on Fiverr anyway?

With 100 % positive reviews contact their support to get Featured

( Personally i Believe It has more to do With Their personal likes And Dislikes instead of Quality of Service )

You can see lot of services that are useless and are featured with negative Rating

He is promoting his gig else where like facebook and twitter or maybe his own website. Fiverr likes it when you get people from out side to their site

VirtualC is right. By bringing in people from elsewhere you widen their user-base. So use several social sites and build backlinks straight to your gig.

I have a very successful gig on fiverr myself. I've had more than 40 orders in a short amount of time.

I've messaged the fiverr staff a million times telling them I have 100% satisfaction from over 20 different reviews of my gig, and they still won't make my gig featured.

Some please answer this guy; I'm also frustrated about this.

30 orders in 4 days. So whats that 30 orders x $4 = $120. So $120 / 4 days = $30/day. Could be worth it if your selling an easy gig, like an eBook. But services may be more work.

personally i get 10 orders a day maybe more from a very simple gig so 40$

worth it as it takes me only 2 mins a job lol
