Doner what and how work

sorry for what is possibly a thick question

but whats the difference between a doner and a JR VIP (which i do not qulify for yet)

when i click the donate button there are 2 options
JR VIP and VIP but i see threads where people just have doner written on them

As said on the donation page :

- If you have been a member of the forum for at least 60 days, and have made at least 100 posts, you can donate $97 and become Jr.VIP

OR

- Premium membership : for the same annual fee, you can become premium and "As a reward for your donation you'll receive a LARGER PM box (Over 500 PM Capacity), the ability to use links in your signature (for advertising), and a Donor icon next to your username (The Ultimate Status Symbol!)" BUT this doesn't give you JrVIP status nor access the hidden Jr. VIP forums.
