PowerVps.com sucks- beware, can get rejected or blocked

Yes Power VPS sucks. Their billing staff are extremely arrogant and simply declines the orders and suspends with no notice.

They say my account not passed fraud check. What the heck is that? Are they some kinda police autorney or fbi? A**H***

First they called me n verified n started processing my order. Then they say.. my card declined n i payed thru paypal..

After 2 days of waiting.. they say rejected..WtF do they think bout themselves.??

they should respect their customers, they should learn politeness. though their tech support is quiet good, their billing n management is worse n worst.

I heard lot of downtime shit news from their existing customers but still thought i can give a try.


Asked for money refund, They say i will get that back. But who cares, On Internet world, Time is money.

This is the second hosting with whom i had bitter results. that is too much of recklessness and lack of time sense with these guys. Previously had similar problem with another host who had no responsibility and i suffered a lot with them where 35 of my sites gone down frequently and no proper support which costed me $$$$.

My suggestion, Who ever reads this thread, Be adviced and dont go with these guys. You have to suffer one time or other. There are lot of companies who adds value to their customers. Choose them and be safe.



GUYS a Small Request.. Please keep this thread clean and dont post any suggestions here. Cause i have already taken a decission on what to do and Please dont spam this thread with all those lol u have to do this... do that kinda msgs.

I think they can have the right to choose whom to do business with? Instead of yelling on a forum thread you can talk to them to know why was your order identified as fraud and remove the doubts or just look for alternative.

I fail to see anything in your experience that makes them Grade B. I mean they didn't take money then turn into monkeys or give you bad service. They just rejected your order which even puts them in grade A because they didn't waste your time.

I suggested talking because it may be just that you ordered through a proxy (which many hosting companies consider as fraud) or any small detail that made them reject your purchase.

You wanted to be their customer and pay them and they refused because your order was a potential risk to their business. This is what they think so it's up to them.

You are the one who needs not to have hard feelings. Just pass on and deal with another host.

Tips for getting through ordering process for any host/service

1- Don't use a proxy. Unless you are doing anything dodgy then there is no reason to hide.

2- Use email account from one of your own domains. Many of them will not be ok with free email providers.

3- Put correct details about country / state. It doesn't harm you if you are a legit customer as they have your IP anyway!

4- Read the service description and know what for you and what's for them. Read the terms to be clear from any problems in the future.

But i will try my best to mae u understand what my intention of this thread is for.

I have been in this industry for several yrs and have accounts with 15 hosts nearly. big to small size..

have an seo company for 5 yrs now.. and have sites which are below the 5000 rank mark in alexa.

Do u think u stlll need to advice all those stuff to me??? !!!! please buddy.. keep this thread clean without any suggestions.

After so much of knowledge and experience why do you think i m blasting them?? Coz of their Stupid behaviour with a client. and their carelessness..

I had several mails exchanged with these people and what i figured out was.. Its all due to one of the guys at billing department who does lot more than required. In simple OVER ACTION...

These guys should know what kinda ppl should work in a company.

Yes Boss... God saved me... Else i would have suffered with such guys if they do it later when my sites are fully established on their host.

I am with powervps since 5 years and I am a happy customer there. As you said their customer service is great! I didn't have any problem with the billing management, they called me and done.

by the way I got 2 vps there.
