If you are going to sell physical products with an amazon webstore, which is what I think you mean, here are a few places to get a start.
Open up accounts with shopzilla and shopping.com. Fund the accounts, list your products and bid .05 per click for people looking for those products.
Add your products to google product search (formerly google base). It's free and can get you a lot of exposure.
List the products on amazon.com
Use amazon ads and pay per click when someone looking for your products clicks from amazon.com to your site/store
Use a product like speedppc to generate ppc ads for each of your products for insertion into google, yahoo/bing and the third party engines, and start at the lowest possible bid per click and start with exact phrase match. (there is a free alternative to speedppc on here somewhere).
Use a service such as wpdirect to create mini blogs on your site centered around a product or category each, that auto post content and reviews to start getting organic search traffic.
Put a few of your best sellers in ebay, monitor closely and expand. (remember to focus on getting your customers off of ebay and into your store though).
This should get you started. Monitor everything closely, know your numbers, outsource what you need to, and above all focus on building your customer list and your relationship with them.
Hope this helps.
