I think everyone thinks its as easy as just purchasing a tokay gecko. IF they are even able to find them. Its not thats easy as just buying a gecko, these have to be a certain weight. These geckos with this kind of weight are more so Rare.

I think I know what you are looking for . We have a species of wild lizard here that is used to cure asthma and other diseases. This is lizard has the ability to glide from one tree to another. It can expand its body and glide looks its flying. Called by local name "hambubukag" I don't think its available to all Islands in the philippines. Besides that we have many other species of lizard. Hmm..tokay gecko = tokek??

Here in Indonesia almost everyone have at least one tokay gecko haunting their house every night with their sound..

I even saw my friend's uncle built a "dinner area" from wood for the gecko and he give them food every 5 PM and there would be at least 6 tokay geckos that came out to eat. My friend said that his uncle was on an attempt to fatten the geckos and sold them after they get huge. He also said that tokay geckos does really fetch for a good price and yeah it was for a medication purpose.

Pretty same idea I guess.

To OP: I figured out that you are from Malaysia after I read your other thread about the flood. I think with that kind of price that you're claiming..it'd be much profitable for you to just come to Indonesia and find the gecko yourself or have a business partner here in Indonesia. One huge gecko and you would already pay off the cost to visit Indonesia. Hehe. My condolences for the flood disaster, dude. I pray that it will be over soon and everyone can get back to their normal life + no plague spreading after the flood.
