PayPal's New Roadblock....Now PayPal SUCKS.....

Today, I received a mail from paypal saying

Dear Udit Bhansali,

As part of our commitment to provide a high level of customer service, we would like to give you a 30-day advance notice on changes to our user agreement for India.

From March 1, 2011
Any balance in and all future payments into your PayPal account may not be used to buy goods or services and must be transferred to your bank account in India within 7 days from the receipt of confirmation from the buyer in respect of the goods or services..

So from 1st of March I won't be able to use my paypal account...
I can only withdraw money....

I don't know what to do....Should I start using Moneybookers and should I make a fake US acc with fake VCC

Fake US account wont help for long time.Payonner transcations also blocked in India.

So all we can do is get money and transfer to bank.Use credit card to buy online.

Is there any alternative for paypal?

Since there is multiple companies following the trend it'd behove you to check recent trade laws being passed, etc. Just my two cents.

US verified PP -> Your own indian verfied PP -> Bank

Whenever you want to withdraw, transfer them to Indian PP and withdraw .. Next time don't vote Congress

If you have any Relatives in US are some Good friends living in there, Just ask them for help.. That will do great.. And don't login to your paypal from Indian IP.. and don't open it through Indian Profile Info.. Keep your Indian Paypal with you. And when ever you get payment into your Fake PayPal with different country profile, Send that money into your Indian PayPal after 24hrs to 48 hrs. If you use Fake PayPal with different Countries Info, US is the Best
option And try to make it Bank Verified rather than VCC.. Bank Verified Works Much stronger than VCC verified accounts.

Agreed.. I think, People need to search the particular topic inside the forum before they make a new thread. An Old thread can already have helpful information while a New will need to wait for Helpful Posts to come from experienced Members..

I don't understand why we can't access the US account from an Indian IP?
I just read the TOS on paypal US site. There nothing written against doing something like this. It says you can't use somebody else's account without their prior permission ( which i'll take ) and you can't access a US paypal account from a country not in their supported countries list (which includes India).

So i don't understand that point. I am not making a fake account, i'm making one in his name and shall be using it for my own use. Also i have decided to get a personal US account as then it doesn't involve giving out tax info unless you cross $20,000 in yearly transactions. I'll do something else if that happens.

Please tell me if there is something wrong in this idea?

I think RBI is making such rules not paypal.. We had this sort of issues frequently before..

They leave "X" million dollars of politicians swizz account and start pushing small freelancers and webmasters..

It is not the pay pal that hates india but the india govt new policy towards paypal . ( New way to scam money out of small buisness people and freelancers ) Paypal has nothing to do with it .The RBI has to do with it .:mad2:

rbi must liberalize foreign xchange norms for transactions without any invoices. Also, they should frame a setup monitering freelance journalism to make it more legitimate. This will have direct effects on Paypal taking these weird steps....btw guys, this is not end of the world
