I would prefer to have 2 or 3 accounts per ip and then I switch IP. Thats better and dont get banned easily

It's not really "per day"

Think in terms of "per 4 hours"
It's extremely rare that anyone keeps IP logs for more than an hour for comparison purposes. Imagine Twitter checking avery accessIP against every other one it has recieved in a 24 hour period.

Hundreds of millions of people logging on and off/creating accounts every hour. A full IP match check every time would destroy twitters servers - it would need to do millions of matches per second on a list of hundreds of millions of IP's

I know they do check - but I don't theink they retain for more than a few hours. 4 is on the safe side.

Make an acocunt in the morning - another in the afternoon and another in the evening.

Even better - buy them ($50 for 100 fully specced accounts I've seen - that's pictures/backgrounds/bio's etc) no followers of course. Then load them up into attacks or buddy and you're good to go.

The current technical limits for accounts are:

• Direct Messages: 250 per day.
• API Requests: 150 per hour.
• Updates: 1,000 per day. The daily update limit is further broken down into smaller limits for semi-hourly intervals. Retweets are counted as updates.

• Following (daily): Please note that this is a technical account limit only, and there are additional rules prohibiting aggressive following behavior. This being BHW... has anyone done a control experiment an seen how many spam-free accounts they can get on one IP that are not created at close intervals to each other? That's the only area that I've directly observed people getting into trouble for this.

To those that are getting banned... I've seen enough silly things attempted around here to have suspicion that you've done something else very wrong. Twitter has suggested that multiple accounts are fine if there is a clear reason for them to exist and they add to the user experience.

IP's get reused a lot. Think of any office with 50 employees behind a single public IP, each with at least one personal Twitter that they occasionally check (not even on the more extreme end of reasonable possibilities). Would Twitter ban those 50 accounts sharing this IP? No way.

When I was an office walla we had a day when just about everyone signed up for Twitter accounts (about eleven of us out of an office of fifteen)

All accepted, all on the same IP.

But we were consistent. No-one lived 500 miles away (remember IP's are normally geo specific)

This must happen a LOT. Even now my mates who are still working in that environment say they log onto social network sites all the time - all through one wide pipe.l

Generally, after creation you should use same ip/proxy for one account. If you can't assign one specific ip/proxy to each account then its better to open them on same ip...
When you get login to one account using different ips/proxies, it makes you suspicious ...

Hence, either assign a specific ip/proxy to each account or login using same ip..

I have a dynamic changing ip and my accounts were never banned so far

i currently run 10 accounts on the same IP. they were created on different IPs, all within an hour or so. One account looked legit, the rest are full of tweets ending with links that were posted every so many hours. not having any ban issues as of yet

(used it to autorize them at my powerful application )
