I hate the latest PR update-Sudden drop from PR-8 to PR-n/a

I found a couple of PR8 do-follow, auto-approved page for blog commenting. It was a valid PR8 page, but all of a sudden after the recent PR update, it went to PR N/A! I have never seen such a sudden drop of PR in the past. This is very strange and I HATE this LOL

if you was the only one who found that blog page then yes it is strange, it tends to only drop to n/a when over 10 -15 people are spamming it.

There are no comments in that page. Also OBL is very low, page has link to other high authority pages both internal and external.

Check your indexed pages? Have they dropped?

I lost a PR5, only to find that over the next couple of days all pages dropped from g and found out it was acutally banned!

No I found it myself.

Don't know exactly because that page is from a high authority site with no spam links.

Did you check your PR using the SEO Quake toolbar? It bugs out the sh*t sometimes.

Ya I know that that's why I checked PR using external site, but its gone!

wow i've never seen PR8 dropped to N/A. The Admin must've done something bad so google ban his website

Better to lose a pr8 blog to comment on than to lose the pr8 on your own blog.


I was expecting an increase for sure. I jumped to PR3 in 1 month, then after such a long stretch of no update I've had time to build backlinks, 45,000 in webmaster tools, But nothing, nada, zip, still PR3
