Xrumer - Profile Blast QUICK Question

Hey,

Quick question.

I'm trying to do a profile blast right now with XR7. I checked the "Registering Only (no posting)" box and then for Profile details, since I'm not posting and just doing backlinks in my profiles, would I make the website the clickable link instead of the signature?

like [*url=mysite.com]my keywords[/url*]? Or would I just put my regular link?

I filled out city, country, hobbies, etc. but I figured I'd leave ICQ and job blank (as most regular people do anyways).

Since I'm not posting an actual thread or comment, but need a clickable backlink, I'm thinking I might need to make the Website section a live link, but just need to be sure as maybe the sig link still shows up in the profile which makes it a clickable link?

In "homepage" you enter the URL, in "signature" you enter [*url=mysite.com]my keywords[/url*]

OK thanks. I just wanted to make sure when doing profiles instead of blasts I didn't have to modify the webiste URL and make it clickable with BB code.

I wasn't sure the sig would always show up on the profile page...

yup agreed with insider, this is the best way doing that, but you can be really creative in the signature, you can target several links by using small pics and even just use a . as another link which sometimes those links get indexed and nobody see them.

If you're posting to SMF forums, title of your post (in the right side of the project when creating one) will be used as anchor for website backlink (even if you're just creating profiles and not posting). Unfortunately that only goes for SMF and not other types of forums.

so this means that only SMF forums would allow anchor text on profiles ?

VBulletin, phpBB and Ip.Board does not allow anchor text on profiles right ?

you can set the all up using the "link convertor" listed under "tools" if you are unsure
