Can Non-Americans write at textbroker?

I'm not an American and was thinking if there is a way we can write and earn at textbroker.com.

I signed up for them awhile back. They make you set up like a social security # and whatnot for "tax purposes" and also require PVA.

It's not really worth doing, the descriptions on what the authors want is way too in-depth (they talk about keyword density, and there's like 15 requirements for each job). Better off selling articles here in the BST section or on the DP content section.

They pay $1/100 words basically, which is the same thing you could get on the forums. Difference is on the forums you get paid instantly, whereas on Textbroker you got to wait till the 15th of the month.


If you really want to do it I'd check to see if anyone wants to sell their account.

You can offer articles re-writing or writing services here. I think you should get some clients. Just make post and I think you will be successful here.

A bit off-subject, but what is the monthly average income in India for the average person?
I've been there for a few months in the past & I know it is a relatively poor country in most areas, but can people live normally with $0.5 per 100W projects?

the answer for ur question is that u can't blackhat the textbroker as they need W9 form to be mailed to them ... so now i think u can't use textbroker ... but yes if u are having account which is created before 1 september 2009 and working properly then they don't ask for w9 form before account gets to $500

i already got approved and earned $12.00 something but waiting for them to approve my w9 which i sent a week ago before i continue writing. yep the people there kind of have a high expectation. but not bad for earning. they even rate your articles and tell you oh you need to add a (,) or (') on it. LOL. once i get my w9 approve i'd be more than happy to collab. any means of earning a few more cents will be nice.

Freshers(guys who just come out of college after graduation) earn around 400 to 500 USD per month from top IT companies like TCS,Infosys,Accenture and all.
second tier IT companies pay anywhere between 250 to 400 USD per month.

Those freshers who are employed outside IT industry earns comparatively less than 300 USD per month.You may find good writers from India who earn 300 USD per month day jobs.

Job scenario in India is pretty much like in DP in short there are too many people and too less jobs!

Let us say ,as a sales man for a healthcare product needs 300USD salary per month and employer says salary is going to be 200 USD only.Guess what happens people will line up in queues for the job

Ultimately it is a numbers game


If there are 10 vacancies for a particular job then 100 qualified people will lineup to attend interview.


After initial interview let us say 70 get filtered out .


Now the employer announces the surprise news "salary is going to be less than what you like/deserve"


out of 30 remaining contenders 20 will reject the offer.!0 will accept the offer.

Write for DemandMedia (ehow). I have an account but don't write there. I just wanted to see what all of their topics were. I only write for private clients but if I did write for a content farm, I would start with ehow.

I think they have 13000 writers and pay around $15.00
