Pawnbroker fake watch?

I used to sell used watches on ebay, and I had an ad in my city stating I buy watches. At least one douchebag a week would try to pull that. Anyone who deals in high end watches can spot a fake, I don't care how good the person selling it told you it was. There is no such thing as an exact replica. You will get caught. Immediately.

If you really want to scam someone, just put it on ebay. Take blurry pictures. Put it in a different backround, and list it on another account, you'll make money twice. But you'll always know in your heart that your a scammer.

I watch pawn stars, on the history channel and they know how to spot fakes a mile away. Granted they are in las vegas.

I'm not sure how good your local one would be, but take it in and see what he would offer you. No harm in that.

Man if you are really that desparate, how is $50 from a pawned watch going to help? I don't think $50 is worth going to jail for, even though it would only be a few days.

Is that all they give for a $10,000 dollar watch?
I doubt i I would have the nerve anyway I am behind in my bills and I have a court case Monday so when your desperate like that you do silly things

If you could take some clear pics I can tell you what your chances are. What kind of watch is it?

Yea they probably wouldn't give you much for the watch, even if they did think it was real. Trust me dude, there are better ways to make money.

Personally, if I needed the money I would do it if I didn't have a family. But if you have a wife and/or kids, I would not do it. They need you more than the money.

If anything, sell it for a reasonable price on Craigslist, just tell the person it is a replica.

I personally like replicas. I have a watch which is about a $12,000 watch. I've had to send it back to Rolex twice within the past year and I'm really careful about bumping it on the desk or getting hit with a shopping cart or something while I am wearing it. I really like it, it fits great, but in the end I decided to buy a replica because I'm less worried about fucking it up.

i deal in high-end watches and can spot a fake a mile away. its easy if you know what to look for. no pawn shop will fall for it.

I looked cannot find either

Looks like an evo? I think the pearl at 12:00 looks rough, and the bezel is a little too thick. I'm not too versed in Breitling, but that one would still make me look twice. What did you pay and where did you get it? A really good one with the same movement as the genuine should cost about 300, but theres lots of others that cost 300 and only claim to be close to real. Its not like you can trust people who sell illegal goods lol.

Rambling aside, I do know who's who in that world, if you got it online I could tell you the quality. You can PM me if you don't want to tell me in here.

Dude, you really got my watch addiction tweaking with this thread :) I collect both rep and gen.

If you walk in to a pawn show and claim that you have a watch that worths 10k then they will not take it. If they dont know anything about watches, they will call an expert. Either way its a lose lose situation for you. My advice, dont do anything stupid that will make you regret for the rest of your life.

I don't know anything about watches but...

Compare the round border to these two:

No way will that fly. It's not even a $200 fake. Looks like a $9.95 chinatown fake.

Who buys a $5k Rolex on ebay (and the seller is in China) without the seller having 200-positive trades and a 100% trader rep?

Only fools spend $5k, $10k for a fake Rolex.

I did buy that in Pattaya in 2007 and the lady said her boss goes to Taiwan for them.
Taiwan are better made of course than Chinese.

Not that I sold or sell them.
I know it wont pass really.
I think it cost 1000 baht
