Crawling banned domains

Will Googlebot crawl banned domains? I purchased a domain last year but only started putting content on it 3 days ago - Googlebot has been crawling it but it doesn't show up in a search for site:website.com.

Surely they will, but it takes time like 3-4 months to get banned domain indexed again (in my experience).

Something I should note is that this was at one point someone's domain, but they let it expire and a few days after it expired is when I purchased it.

Banned domains are being crawled like every domain. Banned domain is banned from appearing in the search engines.

Why was your domain banned?
3 days is not a big period for a website to be indexed.

Sorry I wasn't clear, my question was is my domain banned. I don't know that it was actually banned, I was only questioning why it doesn't even have one page indexed.

First of all, sorry for the typos but i am sleepy!
3 days is nothing but why dont you bookmark your website? You can create some accounts and bookmark the index page and some deeper links. It will be indexed.

Regarding crawling, google bots crawl everything unless they come across restrictions (robots.txt).

I would not say that your domain is banned for two reasons:
1. Three days is normal for a website not to be indexed
2. You bought it a year ago so even if it was banned at that time, it should be ok by now^^
