I am desperatly trying to install tinie and im having huge problems doing so.

I am getting this error when using Filezilla:

Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server

What is the problem? I am putting in the right host, username and password.

Its been 6 hours and counting and cant get this installed!

Thanks so much i really appreciate it!

Can you access your site through like cpanel or something through the web right now? Make sure your host isn't having connection issues.

I've found the following to be a useful problem-solving procedure:

Is the site itself up? You can find out with your regular browser.

What about the web providers ftp server. What happens when you try "ftp://[servername]?

Is this a first-time login or have you been on before? If it's the first time, check account names and passwords against mail received from the company. Sometimes they will set their own names and passwords for accounts that are different from those used at registration.

Finally, try another ftp program. I use FileZilla myself, but this last suggestion often works when all else fails.

When i go to intall the app at mydomainname.com/apps/install.php is says my page couldnt be found.

Yes i can access my site thru my browser. I was on filezilla earlier and it was working fine. My passwords are all correct. The only thing different is that i pointed my domain to a weebly site i am creating.. Would that effect it?

Im not sure at this point.

Thanks alot for the help anyway. I really appreciate it

Did you change the name servers to point to weebly?

Well i did a redirect. Is that why? When i go to my website thru the browser it works.
