So I am working with a trial of MS trying to figure it out before buying. I think I found a micro niche that I want to explore. The SEO competition looks like this:

Code:

The company for this product is number one, but their domain does not match the search term so I think that's where I might be able to do well. Only one word of their url matches(2 word search term). I checked .com and .org for the search term and they are taken, but are landing page only (not in top 10) The .net is available for the exact search term.

Global searches are 6600 and 9 estimates clicks a day at $2.59 per click.

If you were in my shoes would you bite at this one?

Moderate competition so I would go for it.

BTW Market Samurai is already shared here for free:)

I'm trying to get better an using MS too, so I could be way off base but it looks to me like you're up against tough competition...

-Bad-Don't 9 of 10 competitors have very aged domains of 10 or more years?
-Bad-Most or all have thousands or millions of backlinks to their domains, although not to the page you're looking at.
-Bad-Most have page rank
-Good- few have SEO in the four columns

Go easy on me if I got it all wrong!

Yes there are aged domains with PR and a lot of backlinks to the domain, but the backlinks to the individual page in the results is \ are very low. I have seen this done where a large site can be outranked as that individual page isnt very popular \ linked to. Heck, if this wasnt the case, nobody would ever outrank an amazon or nextag product page.

Thats my mentality at least...

Looks like only one has the url optimised. if you can get that right, and get a few backlinks...

You got it- I focused on that right side of the chart first off when setting it all up. It's a two word keyword that I have the exact .net for. The .com and org are landing \ not ranking pages.

We shall see how it goes. My server in the basement is running through 40,000 targeted blogs with dummy information to find me some nice auto approves for this.
