What would you pay for the following statistics on a server?

1CPU 2.53GHz Shared, 512MB Ram, 25GB HDD, 125GB Bandwidth, 1 Dedicated IP?

1CPU 2.53GHz Shared, 1024MB Ram, 50GB HDD, 275GB Bandwidth, 2 Dedicated IP?

2CPU 2.53GHz Shared, 2048MB Ram, 120GB HDD, 600GB Bandwidth, 4 Dedicated IP?

All your input would be helpful.

then offer people here better pricing


I have 3 VPS right now

and knownhost and futurehost are the best 2 I have had - so maybe look at their pricing

What I am looking to do is buy Dedicated servers and break them up into VPS servers. What I need to know though is what people would be willing to pay.

What OS?
A Linux 1CPU 2.53GHz Shared, 512MB Ram, 25GB HDD, 125GB Bandwidth, 1 Dedicated IP would be reasonable at no more than $20/per month since some companies charge less than $8/month which is hard to compete with. Also, you can compose your business on being a more reliable host and offer better support.

512MB ram would not be dedicated. That would be impossible. It would be OpenVZ and oversold like crazy.

We sell our VPS starting from $30 and goes up to $90. At the end of the day though, sometimes it is cheaper to simply buy a cheap corei3 server (Or even Atom if you simply need the stability not the power).

I would say go for it! There are a lot of different options out there for you. And as for price quotes, I would check what other companies are offering and check forums for reviews on these companies in order to get pricing for your own business.
I.E. Do the customers like the prices? Do they like the service? Do you think you can provide better service than your competitors?
Ask those questions before deciding on your plan pricing.

8 x 46 (Leaving 1GB for non customer related activities if the management panel is on the same node) = $368.

Now, Maybe I am a pessimist. But I just don't think it is possible to get a 24GB dual CPU (Not dual core, Dual CPU), server for $368. Factor in backups for the server using something like R1Soft, and whatever your VM Controller costs (We use SolusVM which is pretty cheap).

It just doesn't work out. I stand to be corrected, you are more than welcome to show me the math of $8 VPS for 512mb of ram. But I just don't see it.

I could easily beat that. It is called overloading the server. I could load up 50 VPS servers on an 8GB RAM box without a problem! I just would not do that to my clients

it's very good idea it's about 7 years about this post if u learn new things in that field or have good experience(breaking up dedicated servers ) u can learn me how to mange vps and dedicated servers and i will give u good money or i can work with u under your authority and help u in your work and give u money too( like a small course)
