** I'm going to attempt to login to all of them as a "visit site" and see how many actually let me login (hopefully it will tell me in the log). I'll report back.

On that note, I added my 7,671 to the scheduler and it's been giving me the "Adding to Scheduler" box for about the past 5 hours now. What exactly is it doing? Is it logging into profiles or do I still need to do that later?

Walker, I updated to the latest version 4 days ago. Tried to register on forums powered by myBB. Profile Link Robot can't detect the CAPTCHA when I try to register, it answers the captcha but it always gives out the wrong answer, what is wrong? I'm using it with SMF platform and it's good. Not vBulletin because this software sucks at registering at vBulletin forums, but it's ok, I can live with that since I have other softwares. My only problem is with registering with myBB.

Tell me, what is wrong?

I had the same issue (see 4 posts before) and when I reinstall to the latest version (as walker told me) the problem is gone. So install to the latest PLR version.
As for VB platform, I have the same success rate as with the other platforms

is it in the scheduler? in the scheduler, does it have the links/BBC in each line? if not, it means you selected "Visit site" in the site tab (bottom). then it will only visit the site, not post profile link.

during registration

im going to go check because i just put a list of 100 VMF forums in there for it to register to and got ZERO working. so maybe this is why

again, i put in 100 compatible sites and got zero registrations.
i then updated the software, as i was using the first version,
and got nothing.

at this point im finding this unacceptable. This was a list i built to work perfectly with the software.
Good forums, compatible, and no human questions. GOT ZERO.

this is very strange. what's your operating system? vps? winxp on Mac? ....

it should be very fast to add to the scheduler. and you need start the scheduler by clicking submit profiles.

- 7,671 were registered (user/pass are showing up) so that's about a 61% register rate (49% before filtering). Is that normal? I had both captcha services enabled with decaptcha.com as the priority.

depends on your list, but I would say it is normal. because many sites in the simple scraped list are actually not forums

- After registration was complete, I went to my inbox about 12 hours later and saw only 219 emails I know that many of them don't send confirmation emails, so I'm not sure how many of them are actually activated, but still this seems extremely low for 7,671 registrations.

something is not correct, unless most sites in your list are myBB which has no confirmation.

Just check about 10-20 sites from your list, then use 1 thread, turn off debug options, then you can see whether it succeeded or failed. then you can see why: i.e. proxy, bad username, bad email, ....

update to the last version, then check http://profilelinkrobot.com/help/Settings.htm?#DebugOptions

use the debug option (turn off) and 1 thread to check these myBB sites. what error does it show?

The VB sites should work ok, just like other forums. not sure why it is slow on your side. you can use the same method to check the problems.

or, send the project file to support, then we can check for you. please explain clearly the probelm you are having.

did you register the account before adding to the scheduler? if yes, then when you add to the scheduler, select "submit profile link" (not "visit sites"), then it will add to the scheduler with the BBC code, ....

also, just use the debug option and 1 thread, you can run the site one by one and see the error on the site. this way, you can know what is not correct.

sent the project file to support, including the sites that had this problem. I assume you are using the latest version (just released an update although the version # is still v1.3).

As for VB forums, when I submit 1800 profiles, I'll be lucky to even get 200 registered profiles. Which really sucks, compared to SMF forums, I get like 50% success rate on SMF forums.

it depends on the list you have. many vb sites have the random questions, PLR will not answer these.

One question. I just ran the robot over a scrape of MyBB forums. Now I got a pretty decent success rate (200 or so out of 900 forums). However when I check the links it says "account not activated". you can however see the signature and the URL etc,
I could activate the accounts by hand by clicking the links in the emails and logging in with the activation codes given in the emails. Is this necessary or will the backlink still work without activating the account? Also, will the accounts get deleted if I dont activate them?

That's probably what my problem is than...I'll have to test that some more.

the image will not be displayed.

here is what you can do: in log, there is a "verbose" checkbox, check it, then use the debug option and submit several sites. in the log, it should show more detailed info for the captcha. such as captcha image url, which service used, what answer the service returned. can you send me the log info (by support email)?

also, your IE should have show image ENABLE (not disabled).
