Should I buy .me, . Org or .net?

I want to buy a website but .com is not available. Which domain should I go for? .me .org or .net?
I'm not targeting any country or anything.
It's just information blog.
What should I go for ?
pls help.

In terms of SEO ... it doesn't really matter. People look at .com as most reliable. After that: .net and .org.

I wouldn't suggest .me unless you're making a catchy name out of it like "bite.me" or what not. It's my personal preference, not anything to do with science or statistics to back that up

If you're not sure what to get ...pick the .net. Always a safe bet.

You can always buy both. Develop both of them and compete against yourself. You can use one for more aggressive BH backlinking and one for more whitehat techniques and compare results. The good news for you is that they're both available. Now scoop them up and get ranking for the keyword(s) of your choice. Tons of resources and knowledge on here. The rest is up to you. Actually the thing is....I have to add an extra 'S' to my keyword and then I can get a domain for that keyword itself... The .com domain is taken even with extra s and domain with my keyword in .com, .org and .net are not available...So I have buy a domain [mykeyword(s).net or .org] with an extra 'S'. Now I'm confused between .net and .org

If thats the case, get both.
