What Should I Do With An Old Boss' Blog?

In my early 20s I had a male boss who was very "touchy feely".

I was very uncomfortable being around him and I was young and was scared about losing my job. Yeah, I know that sounds naive but it's true as it was my first "real" job and I didn't want to cause any problems.

(No I wasn't like molested or anything it was just creepy).

When I made mention of him coming onto me and making me uncomfortable I was fired as he made up all sorts of stuff about me and never doing my work convincing me to get let go and ruining all references that I had up to that point. It was awful.

Anyway, I was on the internet looking at old friends pages on social networking sites and found this old boss with a link to their personal wordpress.com blog.

He always used the SAME password for everything so through a proxy I logged in and found that the old password used for everything worked on this personal blog.

So what should I do to this guy? Or am I just being petty?

Thoughts?

i would just keep trying to find stuff of his to log into, but only to find out who he's dating etc and cause trouble anonymously but nothing crazy. You don't want to just erase his stuff cause that's boring and he will change all his passwords.

but uhmmm, i'd just do shitsenders.com and call it a day.
Nothing like some anonymous shit to piss someone off.

Just a word of warning: You as of now are in a position of advantage (you may be able to demonstrate that he did stuff adverse to you, in your previous job). Now you have crossed the line by logging into somethign not already yours. If you log in to that (or any other accounts) you will exacerbate this. If you make any changes, depending on where in the world you are, it may be even more of a legal issue. All I am sayin gis that, tempting as it might be, this might put you in hot water. It may be better to take a deep breath, walk away from it, him, and the past, and look forwards. In other words, there's quite a lot of risk cost and potential here, with very little to gain. Does that make sense? I might sound old and stuffy, and uncool for such a forum - but it would suck if you got in legal (civil, or criminal) trouble jsut out of a sense of revenge.

I do appreciate your concern.

I live in a different state and am logging in from proxies. I just logged in once. There is no way to know who it might be as he probably hasn't given me much thought.

I personally know 2 women who have been in a compromising situation with this bastard since I worked there making me WANT to do something to this guy as it's so unfair to be in that position again and again. Worst off, he is married making even more gross.

So, find out who his wife is and how to contact her, and call/email her. I guess my point is that you have other options rather than getting yourself in a potentially compromised (or compromisable) position. Don't put yourself at risk / in a worse position. You should be smart enough to come up with a way to hurt him without getting yourself in (potential) hot water. The more I think about it, contact his wife (especially with the otherwomen, together) would be very effective...

I've let the wife know at the time and she didn't believe me. She was offended at the idea of him doing that and accused me of trying to break up her marriage to secretly steal him away. (lol gross gag yuck)

Hence, get the other women to call her. And if that doesn't work... walk away from it. Don't let it bug you forever. You have much more important things to think about (I hope).
