whats the best software to use to confirm emails ?

i.e. when you use automated software to sign up at sites, you get hundreds of confirmation emails, in the emails you have to click a link to confirm the sign up process,

does anyone know whats the best software to do this ? (and is reliable)

ive seen software on here that does this, but cant find it again, after looking for ages.
