Squidoo - all except 2 of my lenses made "work in progress" !

Hi there,

I've been using squidoo to promote clickbank products and have been enjoying some success... HOWEVER!

I just logged on to check my account and all but 2 of my lenses have been made "work in progress". The other 2 have dropped down from somewhere around the 10,000 mark (lensrank) to well over 250,000! this has happened since this morning. What the hell is that all about?! Some of the lenses that have been turned WIP are newly published and some are older.

Is this normal - have I done something wrong?. ( I have been spamming and linking using scrapebox, xrumer etc)

What about the lenses that are still active? why have they lost loads of lens rank all of a sudden?

Has this happened to anyone else?

Its quite worrying for me as a lot of my sales come through squidoo and they are important for me.

Please help!!!!!

I noticed this too on my client's lens. Its is clearly stated that WIP lens can still be accessed, by directly visiting or searching on Google. However it won't show up in the search results of squidoo nor it will be promoted in the site.

My guess for the reason why my client's lens was flag its because of dup content. I posted one article in goartices and after one day created lens for the exact same article. I guess they are cleaning up much like Hubpages.

I hope someone can share their experience too.

Thanks for reply. The thing is these lenses don't have any dupe content although they ate all quite similar and promoting the same product - just through different key words.

I wish they would say what has caused it. Ezines is strict but at least they tell you exactly what you're doing wrong...

At least my best lens is still active - just hope they dont pull it too....

and you are right... I just checked and I am still ranking on google the same for the WIP lenses... and can still access and edit them..

weird why the ones that are still active have lost so much lens rank.. guess ill have to buy a load of views from donkey mails again ;-)...

I think we shouldn't be worried about this since the ONLY drawback of WIP is just it won't show up inside Squidoo but it will still be on Google and via directly visiting the lens.

I hope your right but I expect I'll lose alot of traffic... I just have a feeling it will affect the google rank in a few days...

anyway we'll see... I'm really feeling ezines at the moment!!

I might try buying a load of views and see how that affects the page rank and status of a WIp lens.......

Was it because you bought a load of traffic or are they just "featured" again?? Interested to know.
