hey everyone,

i want to know if its legal to do this or if i can get some in trouble. There are a few trademark names in my niche that get searched quite alot and it wouldnt be to hard for me to rank well for these keywords.

Could i have an article on my website with these trademark names in the title and in the article?

I have searched around for answers and some people say its fine while others say no.

any advice would be great

Of course you can rank for these trademark terms. You could only get some problems if the trademark term is in your domain name. But if you do something like this site.com/trademark.html then of course it is legal. It is just sometimes harder to outrank a company's website for their own products. And you could also add the TM trademark sign to your articles if you want.

It's totally okay. I only build links on trademark - keywords. Hint: To get it even easier you can add buy or purchase to the trademark keyword. These combinations are too easy to rank for. The traffic you'll get from this is less, but the people who are coming throug these searches are already "purchase ready". I use this method to push my conversion rate.

There may be a reducing benefit from this.

G00gle seems to increasingly manipulate the results / its algo so that the first 4 or six results come from the main brand site irregardless of the content on your page and the brand page.

Yes, that is right. I don't think it kinda "manipulation" it is even more the wheigt of the keyword in the domain I think. But the most trademarks dont have an onlineshop, so visitor will come back for the second result.

But I know one case where I did outrank the trademarks site, so i don't think it is a fix rule.

thanks for the info guys, you are definitely right about them getting the first 4 to 6 results but i think i can get on top if i work hard enough, in my country none of these idiots know about seo, all these websites have almost no backlinks and bad onpage seo

yeah this is new thing google does for trademarked sites., or brand names.,

if someone searches for apple
the 1st 5-6 links are from apple dot com.,

i guess u cant outrank this., but u can give it a shot.
