How should people go about pricing Ebook packages / money making methods?

im curious... ive once seen a guy try to sell a $1,000 a month method, for 5,000 dollars... it would take you 5 MONTHS just to recoup your money!... but amazingly, ppl were actuallly flocking to buy it...

question, if you had a method, that can get saturated, that can make you 3,000-4500 a month in 6-8 hours of work a day... how much would you sell it for?

keep in mind, even at 300, you can easily make your money back in only 3 days...

makes me kinda feel like i should be selling it for 1,000... i dont know...

If you want to sell for a few a people for it not to get saturated you can sell it for 1k$.
But if saturation is neglected you can sell it for as low as 100$ and you can sell it to many people

I would definitely try and keep the price down. You might get a few sales at an exorbitant $1000 price tag but you will certainly get more bites by keeping it under $200. Like others have said, you have to build a reputation with potential buyers, building their confidence in your ability to create a product that does what it says it will. Once people trust you and your product, when you have something really great and out of the ordinary, your customers won't be afraid to foot the bill regardless of the price tag.

well you did say it will/can get saturated so don't keep the price too low else you're just ruining it for yourself

If you're an "idea guy" you should sell it cheap, get a following, prove to them you're not a bullshit artist then you can charge whatever you want for the next big idea and they'll pay it.

If you can break up your current idea into smaller money makers, do it. Sell the first piece for X and then follow my advice above.

It would depend on your market, I don't believe you will find too many Western citizens buying a method like this. For one you say it can be saturated. Secondly, the hours vs pay is not that worthwhile for many.

Example:
8 hours of work a day, everday = 2,920 hours a year
$3,000 a month = $36,000
Hourly wage = $12

It's definitely not something I personally would spend my time on. However, depending on the requirements, I would definitely be willing to look at outsourcing it.

Price can be set by analyzing your targetted audience , if its Noobs than more than 27$ will be not good , and the peaples who are makin some money they can buy upto 200$ products.If you target guru,s then make a 5000$ product.
