domain name worth it?

There is an exact match domain name, its SEOservices(city) ,
the keyword gets 150 local searches per month. someone is selling me the .com version for $20
.net is already taken, .org is available.

should i go for it?

If you want to be successful, you're going to have to get past that line of thinking. A domain name is only as good as the site you put on it and the work you put into it. Just because someone else hasn't snatched it up yet doesn't make it any less "good." It also doesn't make it any less "bad." It isn't a premium domain no matter how you slice it so at the end of the day, it's only worth the time and effort you put into it. Will the exact match help for that particular search term? Sure. But that's only going to carry you so far.

Get out of the mindset that just because someone else hasn't already done it, an idea isn't "good." Learn to have your own ideas and make them good.

Only take it if you're sure you can make money off of it....find a way to monetize it FIRST...then if you cant think of something, don't buy it. Waste of money. OR you can develop it a little...slap a nice wp theme on there and sell it to someone else for double what you paid for it...
