Ok, i dont know if you read my last post yesterday....

Anyway...

I cleared all my cache, temp files everything!

Reset modem router etc and have a brand new IP

Signed up for a new gmail and new craigslist!...yet it STILL GHOSTSSSS

BUTTTT

When I use my old accounts it works fine. I have read about the "aging" account thing but it surly cant mean that no one can use the account straight away?

What is wrong!!!!! ARHG

Are you posting links in your ads? If so, are you changing the links up?

Maybe they've disabled new accounts from being able to post links? Surely not...

I normally post in the For Sale section. Obviously the recently changed that section to require accounts and be phone verified. I was able today to create 3 new accounts and post to each one WITH LINKS. I am able to see my ads, which means I'm not getting ghosted. I'm using proxies (and probably not even good ones).

Perhaps try testing a new ad. Just something really basic with some text and no pictures or links just to see if it goes through. It probably won't make any sense to whoever is reading it, but at least you will know whether it's your ad or perhaps some block of IP addresses your using.

If it turns out maybe it's your IP, try using proxies. Lots of proxy software and proxy information in the forums here.

Craigslist got really hardcore in 2008 dude. Its getting more and more difficult to post on it. Really a pain in the ass and not really worth my time. I used to make bank off it though. Serious bank, not even chump change.

It's anything but over. There's still plenty of opportunity and with them cutting back on so many things, it will allow us to actually have less competition. It just depends on how much work you want to put in to get your ads up.
