Youtube Is making it even harder

just uploaded a video promoting a tv show in england and after 14 views i got my video blocked for the countries that the video is supposed to target now no matter how much view the video will get it'll be useless as it's not targted. I don't know if this has been around for a while or it's new but i think it's keyword targeted like if you put in the title or tags some words that are registred as copyright your video gets blocked automaticly like in my case

Have you tried uploading a random video with the exact same title, desc, and tags? If that gets taken down then you know what the problem is. If it doesnt then its something to do with the video.

You could use dailymotion.

Im sure youtube would check 'season 1 episode 1'. You could try s01e01, or add full trailer.

I have been posting on youtube for 2 years, it happens sometimes but this exact thing with targeted contrys never happens to me.

I wonder why youtube decides to shoot itself in the foot year after year, i bet years from now they'll start charging for every MB you upload (whoops, don't want to give them anymore ideas).

How could something that was once soo great, be soo terrible today?

I think it is pretty normal that they filter out copyrighted material like full tv shows. I even think they have always done this.

Targetting countries is wierd though; Why would users from that location not be able to see it while the rest of the world can. Is this the country where the show was recorded and released ? I mean, do the copyright holders live in this country ?

yup it was a british tvshow and i was inviting viewers to watch it on my site, i just found out that the channel who owns that tv show has an affctive channel on youtube so they probably tagged my video pretty fast, but i can see this happening so often in the near future as studios and such would it would be a perfect solution for them to protect their content to be leaked on youtube
