LHC Countdown

I got you.... Does anyone know what the hell that thing is supposed to do?

Yuppy to put it simple:
This thing is going to slam particles together really fucking hard and they want to re-create the big bang to understand shit I guess.

They're going to slam protons together miles below the earth to see what it does.. because even they have no clue what it's going to do. They assure us though.. it's completely safe.

Interesting......

I am not so sure about the completely safe-thing.......

Still, things like this do make for high traffic and clicks.

The video is interesting as well.

Not so sure the physics backs up the illustration, but, who really knows.

Wow.. I had no idea so many people were actually stressing about this.. I did a simple YouTube and Google search for this..

With only 4 hours to go time, we should stop panicking and thinking of ways to profit from this :)

Am I the only one who would be kind of.. excited to see us fucking destroying ourselves?

I mean its INEVITABLE, unless we find some aliens to start conquering soon. Were running out of shit to fight over, how long until we just blow ourselves off the face of the planet?

Hehe, but Im more concerned about my adwords campaigns right now...

I wonder if I'll have time to finish this one campaign before doomsday begins and Im sucked into the vortex of death?

Ps:If anybody sees ewen chia on there way into the blackhole, try to float near enough to punch him for me.

Cashcorp, I will look for Ewen Chia if you look for Steven Wagenheim for me.

I've been kidding the entire time about a black hole but apparently the forums/discussion boards all over the world are seriously blowing up about this.. everyone really does believe the world's going to end tomorrow.

There's ALWAYS going to be a doomsday coming.. this is what creates profit for.. well.. the world. People will be stocking up on so much crap and getting all they can. I'm more worried about the demon me and my room mate used to hear in our attic more than a black hole sucking the earth up.

Reminds me of the shit that I would tell the scholarship hall girls back in college.

"It's completely safe!"

And it turned out the same as this experiment will turn out.

After it's all said and done they will say "That was it?"
XD

Less than 2 hours to go. Prepare yourselves for the end of the world.

I guess its time to say our goodbyes
I will be missing you all guys
Thanks for everything!
Before we die, I have a confession to make:
I have a huge crush with *******
Maybe in another life

...the end of particle acceleration experiements more like.
But everyone stay in doom mode, you're more endearing that way ;p

Well, if it does happen, I'll be sound asleep - not a bad way to go out.

Just never thought I would be sucked into a black hole and plunged into another universe inside the infinite multiverse.

Talk about being off point on that one.

well the matter you're composed of will be compressed and transmuted into some new form of matter, needless to say this will mean you will cease to be.
So you won't experience anything other than a cataclysmic and earbursting implosion if it really were to play out literally like the cute YouTube vid illustrated.
