Tool to check if back link made it?

What is a good tool that will take a text file of url's and check that url to see if text (my url) exists? (to verify if my back link made it through)

Or is there another way to do it / another utility?

wassup looks interesting, so you can see where they come from, or does it actually somehow look for and report backlinks?

Also, is that better than using awstats or google analytics?

I notice it does not like caching, so that would be a problem for me.
