Hey,

I'm using Charon to test proxies I scrape. I load in the proxies, remove the dodgy, dupes, etc. and then when I go to check for Anon. Proxies, it starts running and then eventually locks up.

Am I running too many threads or something? I started at 200 and dropped to 20, same problem. I looked at my processes mem and it was only using about 24mb worth.

Any advice would be great.

what is your OS ?
i used to run it on xp before i got scrapebox.
didn't have a problem at 100 threads .. i tried it on win 7 and it doesn't like it.
no clue why, maybe it was just me or something.

I used to use that way back in the day. But its old now and much better ways to test them. SB is excellent for this by the way. I remember Charon taking forever to check 6k at a time running 100 threads on a dedicated server.

but testing a list of proxies in scrape box has nothing
to do with a charon test.
scrape box only tests for proxies that pass its test for
using them in scrapebox.
charon tests for working live proxies . 2 different tests
and charon is the most reliable tester around if
u update your filters / judges / and have the speed
to run it .
