Hi i'm finishing some backend of my new yt view increaser which i would like to share with bhw as a small gift once its done.
Got a small question from my programer does the viewer just need to hit the URL to be counted as a view just like before or does the viewer needs to start download a bit of the movie before it gets count as a view.

Thx in advance for your help

I'm not entirely sure where or when I read or realized this fact, or whether its valid, but as far as I know, a certain percentage of the video needs to be played before it counts as a view, or a fixed duration of at least 30 seconds.

I don't think that youtube make their view algorithm public, but if your software mimics the behavior of a human, the view should count.

Good luck!

viewing it manually only needs a few seconds of the video tp play before it counts, so I can't see a bot being any different.

knowing youtube, they probably has several algorithms for counting views like not the same ip, not viewed the video before, how much video's the same ip viewed in a certain time frame etc.

I've used a "YouTube bot", that increased views.
It should only just load the youtube page, and the it counted as a view.
It was from different proxies tho.
Every load up, a new proxy :).

Cheers.

It is actually javascript that, after being ran, increases the view. I have a c# bot that doesn't download anything but the page source code, from there it gets the javascript code link and downloads that source code. It then scrapes the JS source for keywords and grabs the necessary info to build the string that needs to be sent to yt to increase the views. If your programmer wants to chat with me on skype, I can explain in more detail how to scrape code for a low bandwidth view increase. It would be easily created in any language but I only have c# source code for it.

PM me for skype info.

from my own experience bots with proxies won't work and only a % of views will be counted. I have talked to several view providers regarding this and they said youtube counts 8-10% views only from external sources (direct links to the video).

Please update me how it goes for you.

THAT is as easy as it gets... Now that YT spam control, looking at this thread is probably in a meeting about it now, but for them to change it would take a lot of man hours and I'd just find out what they did differently and spill the beans again.

Shift, that's a brilliant piece of software that you have I hope they don't patch it

cool you could make a lot of money from that. How many views does your bot make?

simple click of url will increase view by 1...
it doesn't need to play everytime..

if thats all youtube requires for a view to count.

then a simple proxy switcher *on rotation* and the js scraper addon/software would/could generate millions of views easily.

Too bad proxies doesn't count as views anymore, unless it's private.

Believe me, if it were that easy, even *I* would be a millionaire from selling youtube views/dominating youtube.
