1 english word domain !

i bought a single english word domain(.org) recently,btw it is not any niche,the word like : even.org , faster.org
how much is it worth actually ? i would happy with selling in $xxxx

really depends. I also have 1 word .org domains and usually go around mid $XXX but it just really depends. What im doing with success is forget parking and set up 1 page landers selling your domain. I include domain info (reg exp and about the keyword), a nice pic, contact form or a link to a selling place like Sedo or Afternic. This works for me and may as well for your domains.

Agreed! I thought these days it was .com,.org,.us in that order.

I always had a hard time making a .net rank even in low competition. .info is just not taken seriously by anyone and I`m starting to feel scammed on my $30.00 for the .co domain I bought.

Check with domain broker on Se*do or develop it properly and sell on filppa-type sites.Honestly don't see it going for x,xxx. May be mid xxx if you develop it. But ask a pro who can give you a better quote if it is "sellable".

If you spend 6-8 months developing the site and making it into a half-way decent tube site, you could offload it for $2-3k relatively easily.

My M.O. is to create sites with no marketing done previously and establish a heavy userbase, and let the person who PURCHASES the site monetize it. Sites plastered with ads don't create an involved user community. You can charge the same price, or more, as previously monetized sites.

Setup PHP-Motion or similar script, hire someone to go in and customize the living shit out of it, launch it, post a couple thousand videos that are properly tagged, do some small scale advertising, let google index the first 1,000 pages, then sell it off. Much more profitable in my eyes.
