I know this is a black hat forum. So by gentle.

But those of you having account like adsense and are not living in US, do you pay your taxes?

Also interested if romanian BH here pay on their own taxes.

I don't know your specific situation, and perhaps you have thought it through and your risks are low. But in general, some things to think about: It's typically reasonably low-cost to pay your taxes. It's a chunk, but it's part of the cost of doing business (psychologically - helps if you don't think of it as 'your' money in the first place - think of it as the gov't's money, that you are temporarily holding). And here's why - the COST if if you get caught will be high - monetarily, possibly jail term, and it's like herpes - once you are on the tax dept's radar for not paying, they will never go away. Now: maybe you don't get caught. But you will ALWAYS worry about - is tomorrow the day? But like I said - maybe you are very low risk, it's up to you. But for me, it's why I always pay it all.

Always never dodge it personal choice. I dont want to end up in the slammer

i lost my job and pple in my situation go run to ask for gov help, which i did not since 2 yrs i am in this fucking situation. I rely on adsense to pay my rent and it is fucking hard fo me. I started with one dollar a day , but at that time i was working ...and now i am making about 900 dollars, a month, and work damn hard for pennies but still, i am asking nothing from no one. I carry on scalling up what i am doing and when i will feel that i have to declare anything, i ll leave for another place

Props to you man! Keep on keeping on.

I was wondering if in the USA, aren't you trapted with adsense to pay your taxes? FISC issue?

Oh, and if you want to look up a good example of avoision, just look at what Google has done the past few years in terms of avoiding taxes (legally).

Argh does noone have a sense of humor here? I'll have to use more wink-smileys. ;-) there ya go.

Was thinking of starting a similar thread, as I've recently got to the stage where you can call this a business and I should be coughing up my taxes. Still weighing up my options - go legit as a registered business or move to a tax haven.

Don't exist for BH IM'ers making below $25K a month, after that there are Tax Heavens and life time holidays :)
