Investment needed, returns by Jan 19th 2011

Greetings,
I am presenting an idea to you that requires $5,000 dollars of an investment. I basically do a lot of offline consulting and networking here in my local area. Recently I was approached by a private group that saw potential in a few sales that I have conducted and asked me to present another idea to their group.

What the $5,000 will cover costs for:
I will pay for the company to take the marketing of the site to the online world and the offline world. What I mean by this is that they will create campaigns to gain exposure online via online magazines, ad agencies, sponsorships, etc and they will also create exposure offline with pamphlets, literature, and other trinkets such as pens, writing pads, etc.
They will be helping with the branding, establishing partnerships with other people in the same niche. It will be quite extensive as well as they will cover the process in regards to building the website, creating a web presence via Youtube, Twitter and Facebook. Which has already been started.

It will be a large campaign on a poor man's budget.

The process:
The sale should realistically average out to $50,000-$90,000. Why are the numbers the way they are is because they are end users. They are looking for some sort of business module that they can implement and will require nothing as heavy as the making of the process.

I will be presenting the entire package on Jan. 17th at 10 am PST at the group's office. The buyers will then have the opportunity to make silent bids which ends at 6pm PST. I will know my final cash out at 6.30 pm. The buyer will then make the payment right then and there or will have 24 hours to remit payment to me.

The way I was thinking to get investors was to offer a healthy sum in return considering this is very high and there are minimal risks. The min. that the site will sell for is $40,000 and the sky is the limit. The niche I will be focusing on is related with the health related niche.

Payout:
You invest the entire $5,000, you will get 50% of the final sale price. Wired to your account. You have the cash and I have the contacts, connections and I will be organizing the entire deal.

I am not going to have several investors but I will talk to those who are genuinely interested.


Risks:
There are risks to everything out there, but this is relatively nominal in the grand scheme of everything being presented. The site will be sold. regardless. We can sign an agreement between each other to ensure that the terms are crystal clear and that there no misunderstandings.

I need this money ASAP so that I can get this endeavor going and on time for the presentation dates.

I shit listed the guy who gave me a false itrader, he made something up because I wanted my payment and he didn't have it. If you look through my posts you will see that he is banned and he was previously banned for scamming and not paying.

As far as the investment, it's very solid. I have an additional and more extensive executive business plan. I also have additional people you can verify with and whatnot.

you are right and its not for everyone.

To coder, the more details I put, the more the prospects understands. If someone comes out and says i need 5k with minimal detail, that would freak me out.

First of all u said the site will sell for a min of 40 grand...so IF that was guranteed, then the investor would get 20 grand not 25 grand. it would need to sell for 50 grand for the investor to make 25 grand.

Before I put this thread up.. My initial thought was I would just offer flat out 25,000 plus the investment back. then talking to a few of my fellow advisors here at bhw. They felt it would make more sense to offer 50/50 of the sale. I just have not gotten around to changing the signature. The presentation is on the 17th depending where you are, you will get the funds within a 2 day period.

Thank you for looking out for me. If I don't get it here, I am in chats with a few other people who are on the fence but see the opportunity to doing something that rarely comes out as a positive investment. I have already started in on some of the things I can sell, and I'll constantly pursue this endeavor. I have had the opportunity before and it was awesome to experience.

No I don't think working is hurtful, well it can be hurtful when I stretch my legs out and if someone just happens to walk by and they step on my foot but that's beside the point *grinning*

I am looking at other options to get the cash but like I mentioned earlier, I was seeing what this would bring out. I appreciate everyone's PM's, instant messages and whatnot.

Its for the whole package deal. I am being optimistic and utilizing all resources. If I don't get it, well at least I tried and that says a lot but I am feeling thats pretty slim.
